Appreciation Day To Honor The Blackwater, Creeds, & Sandbridge Volunteer Rescue Squads

The southend of the City of Virginia Beach receives 911 Emergency Medical Service from the Blackwater, Creeds and Sandbridge Volunteer Rescue Squads.

Emergency vehicles and volunteer personnel from the Blackwater-Creeds & Sandbridge Rescue Squads participated in a “Squad Appreciation Day.”

On June 8th, 2019 a “Squad Appreciation Day” was held at the Princess Anne Ruritan Club, 1057 Princess Anne Road, VA Beach, VA.

Residents and visitors alike were invited to meet the volunteers, touch a truck and learn life saving skills such as “Hands-Only CPR.”

Pungo Pizza and Kona Ice provided refreshments.
