In February, 2020, Virginia Beach EMS Basic Life Support Academy Class 35 held their graduation ceremony at the Virginia Beach Law Enforcement Training Academy.
29 new EMT students under the direction of VA Beach EMS Senior Paramedic, Instruction Supervisor Karin Pettinger, successfully completed the 16 week emergency medical pre-hospital care course.
Before a full house of family members, friends, city officials and fellow EMS volunteers, the new emergency medical prehospital care providers took the EMT Provider Oath, which was followed by an evening of friends-family congratulations and a lot of photos.
