The Volunteer Rescue Squads of Virginia Beach are honored to have a number of active military personnel serving as Volunteer EMT’s and Paramedic’s on our ambulances, responding to water emergencies with our marine rescue team and rushing to car accidents on our heavy squad trucks rescuing entrapped people.
To our active-retired-reserve military service personnel and family members living and working in the Hampton Roads area, check out the Thursday May 22nd edition of the Flagship Military Newspaper for a profile of United States Navy Petty Officer Joanna Rara.
Joanna is an emergency medical pre-hospital care provider with the Princess Anne Courthouse Volunteer Rescue Squad.
Read about the great opportunities awaiting our military corpsmen to challenge the Virginia EMT course and be fast tracked into the emergency medical pre-hospital care arena.
Thank you Joanna for your service to your nation and to your community.
EMT training is free!
